Here are the SHSL Abilities of players in Blood Shift
Please note that some of these may have been fine tuned, removed, or altogether changed throughout the course of events.
Vicky/Akito: SHSL Hannibal’s Ghost: This character has already encountered Death before and has fewer qualms with it then other players. Blood Punishments on this character are less effective and this character has their carrying capacity doubled for 15 minutes after killing someone.
Luna/Shu Ouma: SHSL Void King: This character is capable of drawing on the power of others by replicating them. This player may, upon touching a different blood weapon, “memorize” it. The player may only have a single blood weapon memorized at a time and if they memorize a new one then the old one vanishes. This player may summon a “void” copy of the currently memorized item for a span of 5 minutes. During these five minutes the copy weighs nothing to the character. After these five minutes the weapon will turn to stone.
Luna/Hecate: SHSL Master Throne: This character prefers to have complete control over the situation. This control has been reflected in the durability of their blood weapon. Their blood weapon cannot be destroyed by any other players. This control leads them to have a powerful awareness of when forces are directed against them. This character will be notified when they are targeted with a SHSL ability and/or will be notified if a SHSL ability was involved in a murder. This same capability allows them to predict the exact motions of their targets. Paranoia cannot stop this character.
Autumn/Murasakibara Atsushi: SHSL Sweet Tooth: This character is obsessed with sweets and is constantly keeping an eye out for something to sate them. This constant inhaling of sweets has led this character to be capable of generating very short sugar rushes. This sugar rush may be triggered once a day and for a span of 5 seconds this character acts at 5 times the speed. This means any impact this character makes with another at this speed is going to yield extreme damage or allow him to break bonds placed upon them.
Sumerini/Remilia: SHSL Ultra Vampire: This character draws even more strength from blood then the other players. If this character drinks the blood of anyone but themselves then they may ignore any blood punishments upon them for 15 minutes. If the blood was taken from an unwilling Victim, then the characters carrying capacity is also doubled for 15 minutes.
Sumerini/Remilia: SHSL Ultra Vampire V2.0: This character is much more familiar with blood and its powers than the other players. As such this character can carry other player’s blood weapons as if they only weighed ½ of the norm. This character can also instantly determine if a wound was dealt with a blood weapon while investigating.
Mystio/Hatsune Mystio: SHSL Despair: This character has no hope and can spread despair among the other players. When this player touches another player’s blood weapon they can remove the “weighs 0 to the owner” perk of the weapon and prevent the use of SHSL powers for 15 minutes. If the target’s blood weapon has any other special “perks” they will also be disabled.
Sakuya/Jin Kisaragi: SHSL Nii San Lover: This character is extremely skilled at following and stalking others, learned from years of practice with their Nii San. This player may ask the mastermind the location of any player once every 15 minutes and will be told where they are, hiding or not. This ability also works on Ragna.
Makoto Yuki: SHSL Wild Card: This character is capable of changing their blood weapon by making contact with the current weapon and another suitable object. This character starts off with one such suitable object of their choice at the beginning of the game.
Makoto/Raiden: SHSL Jack the Ripper: This character draws pleasure from the act of harming others and feeling pain. If this character has a large potentially threatening injury, then this character enters a blood mode where they can completely ignore paranoia and are nigh on unkillable. This injury may be dealt by another or even by the character themselves. This state will only last 30 minutes and then the character must recover from their injuries for at least a day before entering the state again. If a killing blow is dealt to this character they may make a single action before they perish.
Luci/Kirigiri: SHSL Detective: This character is extremely familiar with crimes and crime scenes. This knowledge allows this character to recognize more evidence than the others, this character receives an additional verbal bullet that none of the other players receive. On the reverse side, this character knows exactly what sets off alarm bells in detectives’ heads and as long as they are the murderer, they may plant up to 3 items and all three will become verbal bullets.
Seadrias: SHSL Saint: This character is much more familiar with the supernatural then the other players. This character can tell if someone is using a SHSL ability as long as this character has a line of sight on them. SHSL abilities do not work when used against this character. This character can also determine if a SHSL ability was used on the victim or items during an investigation. This character also is capable of manipulating their blood weapon, the Armillary Sphere, with their mind. This character may freely control their blood weapon as long as it remains within 5 meters of their heart.
Seadrias: SHSL Unknown: This character’s true nature is unknown and this carries into this character’s possessions. Their true blood weapon is unknown and they receive a trident that looks like a blood weapon to further the deception. This character may, using their blood weapon, enshroud an item to make it look like another item of equal weight or within 0.50 weight. This only works as long as the item is with 2 meters of this characters blood weapon. While something is enshrouded this characters blood weapon may not be used.
Machalice/Alice: SHSL Destruction: This character is extremely skilled at reverse engineering and dismantling things. This player can take complex items and devices and return them to their base components. With the help of a powerful enough tool this character can even destroy blood weapons, although destroyed weapons will reform on the next blood shift.
Kleara/Aoi Yamada: SHSL Sneak: This character is skilled in the art of thievery and sneaking around. This character is capable of frisking players without them realizing that they are being frisked, but this may only be done if there are people besides SHSL Sneak and the target in the room. This character may also steal and plant items of weight 1.0 or below on people that they Sneakily Frisk.
Lex/Koujaku: SHSL Swordsman: This character has had their blood tainted by a special kind of tattoo that when experiences intense anger this character grows stronger, as their blood weapon is tied to their blood, it also reflects this increase in strength. When this character is angered their appearance changes as the blood is pumped throughout their body and weapon. In the Berserker state this character lashes out at all nearby, inducing a paranoia affect preventing murder attempts on this character. Their strength is increased to such a degree that the slight cutting wind generated by their sword can be launched a huge range. (You can deal a blow from any distance as long as you are in the same room) At the angriest this player must make attempts to kill those that approach him.
Lex/Clear: SHSL Singer: This character has an astonishing voice and is capable of a variety of pitches and tones. This understanding allows this character to locate sounds much more effectively than their fellows. This character may pinpoint sounds from other rooms that no one else can. This character is capable of motivating song and may sing. If this character sings then all those who hear the song including the user of temporarily freed of any negative SHSL abilities and have their blood Punishments weakened temporarily. This character cannot repeatedly sing and must wait 2 hours in between sessions.
Chatter/Axel: SHSL Deception: This character hides their goals and plans as second nature and is capable of lying more effectively than the other players. This deception lets this player fool those who do not think. All murder attempts at this character that are dealt in a rage will fail. This character is also able to plant extremely convincing lies. One item may be planted by this character and REGARDLESS of who the evidence points at, will be turned into a Verbal Bullet.
DarkLlyud/Elena Olegovna Owen: SHSL Screams Like a *****: This character has an extremely loud voice and tends to announce things that bother them. This character may yell and everyone in the game will hear it. However, due to the overwhelming noise and ensuing echo, no one can determine where this characters voice came from. This character will also, if harmed in any way, make a piercing screech announcing their pain. All the players will hear this.
Red/Seija Kijin: SHSL Anarchist: This character hates being controlled more than anything. If this character is attempted to be bound or caged in any way, by rules or force, then they can ignore any and all blood punishments on them and gain double carrying capacity as long as they are acting against that “cage”. If the items binding them combined weigh less than the new carrying capacity the character may destroy the items to escape their bindings. These bonuses are received if they ignore certain rules of the Overseer as well, but expect punishment for breaking these rules.
Ravan: SHSL Cadet: This character adheres to the rules of society and works to learn more and better it. If this character acts in a way that adheres to the rules set by the players or the Mastermind then they receive a 2.5 bonus to their carrying capacity. If this character acts to punish another player for breaking rules then their carrying capacity is increased by a full 10. If this character strikes down another player in the name of the rules, or calls them out as a rule breaker while they are executed, that players blood Punishment will be Much Worse.
PLOT CHARACTERS
Alice, Eternity Weapon: SHSL Clockwork: This character was brought to life via clockwork as a blood weapon and can manipulate the very flow of time itself. Due to the consistent stress of holding back the bottomless power of Blood, Alice has become a weapon disconnected from time and is now an Eternity Weapon. Regular blood weapons are completely incapable of dealing damage to Alice.
Aeturnus: SHSL Valor: This character has been forged through their dealing with the potential end of all people. This character will work their hardest to achieve their goals and will stop at nothing to avoid defeat. This character extraordinary will makes them completely immune to knockouts and their dealing with blood has left them unable to be harmed by them or regular weapons. Only an eternity weapon is capable of damaging Aeturnus.
