*sprints out of the Library*

-NPCs slowly file out of the library, you hear a clap of thunder and a storm approaching in the distance-

~leaves~

"Is everyone here? Good. Now first... I'd like to say there was something I refrained from telling all of you yesterday. There were quite a few other people I managed to contact, and they all said they would be here. Jacques, Halisi, Kanade, John Smith... and a few others. I thought they might have just been running late, but after trying to contact them today, I fear the worst may have happened..."

[King V]

"It sure is strange how a lot of people suddenly go missing as soon as you called us here to this manor, Shion."


"C-could this be the work of the curse...?"


"D-don't be silly Maizono... th-there's no way a curse exists... right...?"

[King V]

"Lots of people have gone missing, and two people have died already in the manor. This doesn't look good no matter how you slice it."


"Maybe it was what Youmu was talking about earlier? How there was a murderer? Maybe she was killed precisely because she said there was a murderer..."


"That's certainly a possibility. But if there truly is a murderer in our midst, we must find them quickly. Shion, you were the first at the scene correct? Perhaps you could give us some insight on this possible murder."

[Funny Valentine [Silentgod]]

*Muttering* "What is stopping the murders from being part of the curse?"

[Exusiai]

"And there really is no way to know there whereabouts?"
*Reiten sighs to himself as he slinks deeper into the library*
"You also mentioned 'first', Miss President. Does that mean there is more you wanted to tell us?"

[King V]

"I did stumble onto the body when I was checking to see where Youmu was... Sova told me she already searched the second floor and couldn't find her anywhere. I'm inclined to believe this is the cause of the curse... but the timing is all wrong! The curse's duration should be once every 23 hours! There's no way it's already accelerated to once every 3 or 4 hours!"

-Shion takes a few deep breaths-

"Well, regardless, we need to be careful. I'm not sure if these deaths are being caused by curse or by murderer at this point... or maybe the curse I've been tracking was just a psychotic murderer all along... everyone please be vigilant, and try to uncover how Youmu and Kubota died. Perhaps that will be our best lead as to what is causing these deaths..."

-Everyone slowly leaves the library after Shion dismisses them-
