Azure Pregame: Outside the Fort

"Geh, fine, fine already! Sheesh, what a drama queen...

Ya wanna know about the Adepts? Basically, they're ESPers. Using Septimal energy--basically a, uh, seventh sense--certain people can do supernatural stuff. For instance, I can control fire! 'Course, it... wasn't much until this guy Nova came along, said something about changing the world, and basically recruited me to his group. Now I'm either keeping an eye on the reactor on the outskirts, or I'm huntin' down rogue Adepts that wanna screw with everything.

There's this one guy though, Gunvolt. Calls himself the 'Azure Striker' and works for QUILL, a rag-tag group tryin' break down Sumeragi, the team that Nova put together. Nova's got seven elite Adepts, each carrying a sword that draws out Spetimal energy--a Glaive. Like I said before, I'm one of those guys. I, uh, don't got it with me now though...

But anyway, so Gunvolt's been using electricity and special wires apparently made from his hair--eugh--to take down some of the other members and trashin' a ton of our facilities. Kidnapped Lumen, an idol, and took down Merak and Iota. To give ya some perspective, Lumen can give a massive power boost to whomever she wants and can even revive the dead. On the other hand, Merak's a lazy guy who can make portals. If he really got motivated, he could toss ya all across his underwater lair and drown ya. Guessin' that's why he's MIA though--didn't take that shockwad seriously. Iota, on the other hand, is one heck of a fast guy. Controls light and likes to make things close and personal with those floatin' swords of his. And that Gunvolt guy took 'em both down. Heck, we were dukin' it out before I conked out and, uh... woke up here."

Viper rubs the side of his head before continuing. "Guess there's no denyin' it though. This ain't Japan. And something's prolly puttin' a hold on my powers. So that good enough for ya? Since we're killin' time here, I wouldn't mind hearin' some of the others' stories."

[Daiwa Scarlet]

"Oh the curiosity... What other times would cause the sky to take a purple tint... Perhaps your name is Twilight. I suppose Dawn or Dusk would also make for pretty names... Mist would also be at dawn..."

"Hmm... about the doctor? I cant seem to recall much... though his clothing was too small for him... Do you know how we ended up in this courtyard then? Perhaps an assistant of yours was dressed as a doctor."

*suddenly opens his eyes and jumps back his feet and looks at gate*
"Mmmmmmmh, this is nice, you're good... But how do you like this?!"

*starts super swiftly punching and kicking the gate with movements you have trouble following with your eyes while shouting out*
"Demon Fist! Shadow Rush! Impact! Talon Strike! Phantom Dragon Dance! Swallow Storm! Wyrm Rush! Brutal Rush! I'm not done yet! Falling Phoenix!!!"
*yet gate doesn't seem to budge at all*
"Huff... *pant*... Fsh... Hah... Ha-ha... You're tough... *pant* I like it... *more panting* ****... You've got me trapped... This is awesome..."

[The City [EclipseZwolf]]

-The giggling transforms into outright laughter-

"I like him, he is funny! Hahahahahahhahahahahahaaaaa..."

-The mist twirls in the air as it addresses the earlier questions-

"All wrong! What's an assistant? I want you to tell me about the doctor, not the other way around! And I don't know how you all got here. I just close my eyes and wish for company! I only get one friend at a time, I had to wait and wish a long time to have this party!"

-A tall wooden pillar stand appears in the center of the courtyard. Hanging from it is a noose-

"I came up with teh bestest way for us to play Hangman at the party! Once everyone is ready to play we can get started. I can't hardly contain myself!"

-The giggling and laughter intensifies before the azure mist disappears into the building-

"So you had wished us here one by one?"

*Melinda looks over to the noose*

"Hangman..."

[Indrid Cold]

"Heh... Hangman... I wonder if this guy does knock knock jokes too"


*Sans slowly gets up after his nap and looks at the new figure, then notices that he is wearing a party hat.*


"People have always said that I was the death of the party."

[Daiwa Scarlet]

"Oh... dont be so down on yourself. I think your party hat is very cute~"

[Ryo Asuka]

*Jay walked over to the noose and tugged on it*

"How the hell are we supposed to tell you stories if we can't remember anything? Would you like a fictional story? I have one. There once was some crazy Azure-Cyan Mist Creature that wished for innocent people to be kidnapped and their memories wiped in order to be brought to her crazy tea party. Now, can we please get on with this dream or whatever this is already? I bore of these silly party games."

[Falin Touden [Ven]]

"Hang...man... But... In Hangman, there are different body parts, before the finished body is hung... how would this version work?..."

[Speck-Jota]

"Hum, so that runt left...

Goin' off of what that girl over there said about 'one at a time,' anyone wanna take a guess at how long each one might've waited? And how many are here now? And people, you might wanna get through lookin' at the gate while you can. Just sayin'."

Viper backs several meters away from the gate and looks at the noose. "Dang, that's tall..."

"I've seen the gate, I've looked around, however this party has been given me mixed vibes...

[The City [EclipseZwolf]]

-A resounding thud along with the sound of tearing flesh echoes through the courtyard. This is following shortly by screams of utter agony-

-A massive pole of metal seems to have slammed right through the shoulder of Jay, pinning him to the ground. His screams resound through the front yard before fading as his consciousness leaves him.-

-The misty form rests top the end of the metal pole impaling Jay, it seems to twist and turn as the mist speaks-

"If you don't want to play you don't have to. I'll have my fun with you whether you wish to or not. I don't care how you are here or who you are. I just like to listen to relieve my boredom. That wonderful voice of yours sure is entertaining, I have so much fun when they wriggle and squirm. All that matters now is why, and you are here to play with me, that is all you need to know."

-The mist in its rage seems to come together more solidly as it screams at Jay. The voice and outline are now decidedly feminine-

"If you promise to play Hangman with me, I'll let you go... after all, if you can't move it gets SO BORING!"

-The mist dissipates once more in a bout of laughter and giggling-

"... Would you care to explain the rules to your... hangman..."

[Indrid Cold]

"Seems like that guy really got the short end of the stick..."


*Sans goes to sit back down near the tree he was taking a nap at*

-The voice echoes out-

"I dun wanna have to explain it again! I'll tell everyone when everyone is weady!"
