I wonder what the last puzzle is... perhaps something to do with the abacus? Or the flask in Philosophy? Maybe the locked tome would give an answer... I suppose the princess hinted at something... Can anyone find a puzzle in this? Maybe the stone man's item?
Upon examining the pages, they reads:
“August 8th, 1853
Finally, we survivors have made it to the Cardinal Cross. Here we have found terribly personal details of the Princess’ life and deeds. The truth surrounds us, but we are in more and more danger as we approach the answers we search for. I know the Privy Council is just above us. We must march on forward to put an end to this. There are merely a few days before our ends. I believe we know truly the names of the people we are dealing with in the Palace. The King’s Mirror has shown us what we need to know. Together, we have made it thus far. Together, we must continue.
August 9th, 1853
After a treacherous journey through the Armoury, we found the key to it all. The very weapon the Princess used in her many evils. Surely, this is the answer. And yet, I feel as though we are so far. We are missing something critical. It seems we almost found our way to the Privy Council by looking at the celestial bodies, but what will we do once we arrive there? What dangers await us? We simply are not ready. This could be our ends.
August 10th, 1853
The sun blew a hole right through the ceiling, and we managed to get to the Privy Council. The doors before us are lines of no return. We must not cross until we ready. I know for a fact that we are not prepared, as I have found the most ominous thing in the Hall of Virtue - a stone man. He spoke to me in riddle, but I found my way around and returned to him with what he asked of me. He gave me a key, but I know not where to use it. We have little time, however, and I fear that we must make a decision now.”
