-A strange man sits on the side of carriage, as if oblivious to obvious danger of the position- "Oh, Come now, it isn't that bad. It could be significantly worse! We could be riding in a giant clockwork spider whose body is a clock! It would be horribly unbalanced and every step would be jarring, and that is where I live!
"Besides, if you don't like it you can just walk. A nice refreshing journey should be accompanied with some exercise and all the better to feel when you have reached your goal." -The man rolls off the side of the carriage, when you look over he is already on his feet and walking along side it as if he never needed time to fall to the ground- "Come now, won't any of you little wakfu's like to join me?"

*Stares at the strange man walking besides the carriage* "You know, theoretically that is stupid as we have a long way to go".

-wakes up and notices all of the people in the carriage- "Welcome, one and all, to the-... wait this isn't the palace...? Oh, we're still on the carriage. Silly me, I must've gotten confused for a minute there." "Well regardless, my name is Nagito Komaeda, but enough about me. I'm not important enough to talk about. Instead, let's all talk about Hope!" "Hope is the world, it is the light at the end of the tunnel, it is the destination that awaits all of the extraordinary people in the world! It doesn't matter where you are or who you are, as long as you are extraordinary, which I can certainly tell that you are! I'm sure that with my aid as a stepping stone, all of you can achieve true Hope! As long as we have our combined power, we can overcome the Despair of our situation! We will rise up and defeat our inner darkness, then become the light of Hope that will inspire all of humanity! And then during the critical moment in the battle between Hope and Despair, I will become the bridge and all of you will become the force that smashes through Despair, resulting in the creation of true Hope!" "Everyone! Believe in yourselves and Hope will be in your grasp! Don't hesitate to murder me, or come to me for help in murders! It's all for the sake of achieving true Hope! No matter how many lives are sacrificed, nothing matters as long as we obtain Hope! Hope is the only thing worth living for! Aha... ahahahahahaha!"

*Junko looks at Nagito in disgust* "What are you on about you pitiful human? Hope is the downfall of all human kind and what they stand on, with hope the world would truly become a nuisance..=". *Junko's face starts to change* "..... But despair... Well what can I say... It's beautiful, don't you think? I mean Nagito, your telling these people to kill you? Now that's despair, if you had hope you'd want to live but that's disgusting in itself....". "... I control that despair and make the most perfect combination in the world, ahahhahahahahah!".

"IT'S YOU! I remember you! You're the one who tried to destroy the world with Despair! Well not this time! THIS TIME HOPE WILL PREVAIL!!!" -Komaeda starts repeatedly punching Junko in the face and wrestles her to the side of the carriage- "Your despair has no place here! Get out or I'll destroy you! ARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!" -punching and wrestling intensifies-

Bambi giggled at Junko's display of distaste as the mood of the traveling band began to slowly improve through each person's acts to lighten it. "It's stupid, yes. But it's certainly better than sitting on our butts for a few hours and regretting it." she replied in a sort of joking manner. Though, it was true. She didn't want to get up several hours later to find her butt had become a pancake. Although, if she wanted to be a little more enthusiastic about not keeping still, she could always ride on top of the carriage. But that might just make the coachman angry.
However, her new-found confidence slightly dimmed as Komeda began to randomly give a speech about the importance and... definition...?... of hope. As nice as it was to be positive, it felt odd to see him giving it such appraisal. "H-hello. Nice to meet you Komeda." she replied, nearly gritting her teeth as she stammered due to her stupor. His personality certainly caught her off guard. "M-murder you...?" she asked softly, scooting over to the carriage door where the other man had very boldly leapt out. "Um... I'll pass. N-now is probably the best time to excersize my legs." she quickly muttered, crawling out and carefully landing on the ground to start walking with the monk-like figure. However, his stride was much longer than hers and she had to jog to keep up.

*Junko is manically laughing at Nagito as he's repeating to hit her* "Oh poor Nagito please don't hit me... I can make you fall in love with me again....". "... I mean you were so confused... did you still want hope, did you really wanna destroy me? Your just like me you know....". "... Just like likkle ol me" Junko finished in her cutest voice".

After hearing the long monologue given by the man obsessed with hope, Zacharias Barnham felt it necessary to get his point across to everyone and introduce himself to the others. "I see you are especially fond with dual wielding the blades of hope and despair. While I am not particularly fond of your sudden violent outburst, it's admirable to see a man who speaks his mind and wishes to rid this world of the darkness however he can. The moniker bestowed upon myself is Zacharias Barnham. It is a pleasure to meet you all."

Ignoring the little fight in the carriage wasn't easy. After all, either the coachman would get fed up and stop them, or he would do nothing due to his social status. That, and the smaller woman didn't want to become part of their toxicity and pull out her favorite switch blade. Not that it was important. She greeted Yin with a soft smile, happy to see someone else who wans't going to get involved in violence right now. "Hello again!" she greeted rather cheerily.
Her hazel eyes returned to focus on the strange man she was jogging to keep up with as Yin rested on his head. She could hear soft hissing and creaking... like... metal? When he spoke earlier, she had also noticed a rather mechanical sound in his voice. It was clear, yet... inhuman. It didn't sound like a natural voice at all. "My apologies, but you never mentioned your name." she said, a curious tone to her voice. "Who are you?"

"Hii~ Seems we still have a ways to go before we get out of this cave... Though I am considerably more interested in that castle in the distance than actually getting out."

"What the hell do you two think you're doing back there?! Break it up, or I'll have the both of you draw this carriage straight to the palace without rest instead!"

Hearing Gunther's sharp voice cutting through the air like a dagger, Bambi was glad she hadn't stayed in the carriage and gotten involved. "Yeah.... this cavern is long. But um, let's make sure to get back in the carriage at some point, okay? I'm pretty sure Gunther doesn't want to feel like he was hired for nothing." she replied, giving Yin a nervous expression as she looked back inside of the carriage. The only other thing that worried her, of course, was if the carriage approached steep inclines or dips in the path. Then it would speed up and they would get left behind.
