I will certainly admit things have been.... livelier across the city recently. Martial law and cultist wars didn't really help...

Looking over at Yuuji, Ayame frowns pensively, as if seeing him for the first time. Straightening up from the ledge where she was resting her hands, she walks over to his desk and leans against it, straightening her glasses.
"Is that why you're here?"

Yuuji thinks back for a second

"A fair suggestion, to be sure, if vague. Still, an iron will can be forged to be a steel sword." She spins a chair from a vacant desk around and sits across from Yuuji, facing him and crossing both her arms and legs.
"If I may ask, how should we go about controlling it?" She looks mainly at him, though her eyes do flick to the other members of the classroom.

「Human beings don't have wings on their backs. We have no choice but to make our way forward on the two legs we were given.」
「Right now our city is riddled with explosions, riots, murder, and destruction. Not to mention all the cultist freaks using some weird magic.」 He grimaces slightly as he speaks
「The first step should be to clear out those who are corrupt while in a position of authority. And little by little we will have this city recover to it's former self.」
Yuuji sighs
「We might just be students, but I think we can make a big difference.」
「Life is just a long series of small steps, but we can make rather large strides if we put our mind to it.」An arrogant smirk can be seen on his face
Yuuji hears the school bell ring
「I suppose that's my cue. I'll see you around, Ayame.」

Ayame watches Yuuji go, her eyes narrowed in contemplation. Without giving the other students another thought, she snags her backpack and leaves.
